On 25 March 2023, the nitsch museum in Mistelbach will launch its annual exhibition “Hermann Nitsch – The 6-Day Play“. This exhibition, which is organised in cooperation with the Albertina Wien, will focus on the centrepiece of the artist’s Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art).

In February 2015, Hermann Nitsch’s Sinfonia for Mexico City was premiered with the conductor Andrea Cusumano. On October 4, 2023, the artist and composer will be remembered in the Fonoteca Nacional in Mexico at the premiere of the film that was made as part of this concert.
The curator Michel Blanscubé and the filmmaker Julien Devaux will accompany the film screening.

In March 2020, Hermann Nitsch was invited to write a text on the future of opera for the anthology “Die letzten Tage der Oper”. The book was published in German in spring 2023 and will be presented by the editors Christian Kircher, Gert Korentschnig and Denise Wendel-Poray at the Vienna State Opera on 3 December 2023. – Participation by personal invitation only!
