Top chefs and winegrowers from the Weinviertel treat guests to an al fresco five-course meal accompanied by fine wines – outdoors on trestle tables laid with white tablecloths.
The castle in Prinzendorf was already the venue for an al fresco dining in the Weinviertel region back in 2012. Now, 12 years later, the popular culinary event is returning to the castle of the exceptional artist Hermann Nitsch, who passed away in 2022.

Rita Nitsch will give a guided tour of the castle during the aperitif. The subsequent menu will be prepared by Norbert Hacker from Prottes, with the appropriate wine accompaniment provided by the Martinshof winery from St. Ulrich, the Hauser winery from Poysdorf and the Gerhard Lobner winery from Mannersdorf a.d. March.
The price also includes an admission ticket for the nitsch museum and MAMUZ in Mistelbach, which is valid until the end of the 2024 season. On the day after the al fresco dining (Sunday, 18 August), there will be a free guided tour for all guests at 10 am at the nitsch museum in Mistelbach. In cooperation with the nitsch museum in Mistelbach and the Nitsch Foundation.
