One year after Hermann Nitsch’s death, the Schloss Prinzendorf will be opened to the interested public for one day.

Even as a child, Nitsch wandered through Prinzendorf with his family and admired the castle. At the end of the 1950s, he specified it in his theoretical writings as the venue for his 6-day-play. His dream would miraculously come true. Schloss Prinzendorf became his theater. Here he worked in his studio, here he lived with his wife and their beloved dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, chickens and peacocks.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Rita Nitsch, the baroque gem was lovingly restored and has become a magnet for art lovers from all over the world.

Guided tour through the exhibition “The 6-Day Play” in the nitsch museum Mistelbach.
An exclusive visit and tour of Schloss Prinzendorf with a welcome from Rita Nitsch.
A short hike across the fields and through the cellar lane in Prinzendorf.
Dinner with wine tasting in the Heuriger Martinshof in Neusiedl/Zaya.
