Rita Nitsch and the nitsch museum invite you to join a memorial celebration for Hermann Nitsch. In the spirit of the artist’s philosophy, it is going to be a life-affirming festival for all in memory of Hermann Nitsch.

After a welcome by Michael Karrer (nitsch museum), Klaus Albrecht Schröder (Albertina), Danielle Spera (Jewish Museum Vienna) and Johanna Mikl-Leitner (Governor NÖ) will speak in honor of the artist.

Musical pieces by Hermann Nitsch and Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as a panel talk moderated by Michael Fleischhacker with Lóránd Hegyi, Peter Kubelka, Rita Nitsch, Elisabeth von Samsonow are further highlights of the program.

In the evening, the museum welcomes to participate in a procession along the Dionysosweg.
