Anniversary celebration and exhibition opening

On the 15th of September, the Museo Archivio Laboratorio per le Arti Contemporanee Hermann Nitsch celebrates its 10th anniversary in Naples.

In addition to the intensive exhibition and archive work, the Museo Nitsch has also grown spatially in the last decade. As part of an urban development program, Giuseppe Morra, a longtime friend, art collector and museum founder, has managed to achieve direct access from the city center on Piazza Dante to the art district around the Museo Nitsch. A private staircase now connects the bustling Neapolitan city center with the intense art experience in the higher exhibition rooms.

On the occasion of the museum’s 10th anniversary, not only is the new exhibition of relics from the 152nd action presented but also the opening of the museum restaurant and the “Terrace of Scents and Colours”. Thus the anniversary celebration becomes a comprehensive sensual experience in the spirit of the Gesamtkunstwerk, inspired by the father of Viennese Actionism.

6 pm: Opening of the Scala Nico II Avvocata at the Pizza Dante

6:30 pm: Opening of the museum restaurant “exil.convivium ”

7 pm: Opening of the exhibition “Hermann Nitsch – relics of the 152th action”

9 pm: Opening of the terrace of the scents and colours
