In the exhibition curated by Julia Moebus-Puck, Nitsch’s references to the sacred and to Christian liturgy are presented on the basis of his artistic development from 1980 until his death in such a way that the exhibition itself becomes a sacred space.

Both artists have engaged intensively with the music of Hermann Nitsch and, using analog and digital elements and instruments, have developed an expansive composition that not only fills the exhibition space but also transforms it into a living, breathing resonating chamber. Following its premiere on opening night, the work will be played throughout the entire duration of the exhibition.

Opening:
Member of the National Council Andreas Minnich
representing Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner

Following the formal program, we invite you to join us for a convivial gathering with wine and bread.
