On Thursday, 29 November 2024 the recently opened Stasys Museum in Lithuania will present the Gesamtkunstwerk of Hermann Nitsch curated by Lina Albrikienė in collaboration with Roman Grabner.

Stasys Museum is more than a museum. Being a monumental home for the multifaceted work of Stasys Eidrigevičius, it is also a modern space for the new generation of global talent, art, ideas and creativity. It‘s designed to be the beating heart of Panevezys culture, building international bridges and boosting a multicultured artistic dialogue.

From 29 November 2024 on the recently opened Stasys Museum will present an introduction into the Gesamtkunstwerk of Hermann Nitsch. A precious selection of early action paintings is going to be paired with relics, photographs and films by Nitsch’s late friend Jonas Mekas.
