“Arena. Opere dall’opera” is an extraordinary exhibition showing an extensive selection of relics of Hermann Nitsch’s actions from the Morra Collection.  Giuseppe Morra, a long-time companion and friend of Hermann Nitsch’s life, has realized numerous actions, exhibitions, projects and publications for and with the artist since the 1960s.

This comprehensive exhibition marks a new stage in the research work of the Museo Archivio Laboratorio per le Arti Contemporanee Hermann Nitsch in Naples, founded in 2008 by Guiseppe Morra, and confirms his mission to capture, exhibit and define the hermeneutics of Nitsch’s work.

“Arena. Opere dall’opera” analyses the origin, development and semantic connections of the Orgies Mysteries Theatre, which was developed by Nitsch in 1957.
